Hostel Facility
There are 21 Residence Halls for students, 8 for boys, 11 for girls, one Working Women Hostel and an International Hostel. These Halls, which accommodate approximately 7600 students, are named after eminent men and women, historical personalities and personages

The centrally air-conditioned campus library is divided into several sections and two reading halls and houses a large collection of printed and digital materials including over 6.4 lakh print publications, 1490 manuscripts, online full-text journals, CD-ROM databases, and e-databases.

the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 45 LPA and INR 8.72 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 382 offers were made and more than 50 companies participated during UIET Chandigarh placements 2023.
