  NOTICE (for students) As per request of students, the following decision is taken : 1. Regarding Minor I exam of first year BE/ME/MTech Minor I exam for BE/ME/MTech first year will be postponed by two weeks as per request of students & due to rising cases of COVID-19. The minor exams will be held now from 7 June-9 June 2021. 2. Regarding special chance to BE 2nd , 3rd and 4th year and ME/MTech 2nd year students to appear in Minor-IFor BE 2nd , 3rd and 4th year and ME/MTech 2nd year students who could not appear in Minor 1 examination held on 17 May-18 May 2021 & will not be able to appear on 19th May 2021 also due to covid-19 infection will be given special chance on the production of certified evidence of going through COVID-19 treatment.

Higher Authorities of Panjab University is finalizing this based on their experience and other consideration. Whenever the undersigned is asked to give comments, sentiments of the student community shall be communicated.

  - This office has received many mails related to fine imposed on the students due to non submission of library books. The undersigned is conscious of the anxiety suffered by students and wish to convey that imposition of this fine has occurred as a part of automatic procedure. It has been resolved that no such fine shall be imposed on the students, who are yet to visit Chandigarh after lock down i.e. March 2020. This decision shall not be cited as any precedence in future.
